Tomorrow the first of Darren's new album tracks will be previewed on his official site, and what better way to celebrate than with one of his many many ace songs of the past. Random Blinking Light was a b-side to the similarly atmospheric Darkness, Darren's follow-up single to Pop!ular which never actually got released in the UK as far as I can remember. One of the great things about being a Darren Hayes fan is the sheer number of amazing songs by him that are available. His albums are always consistently great, but he also has provided fans with many b-sides and other random unreleased tracks and every one is good enough quality to be a number 1 hit in a righteous world. Darren has my favourite singing voice of any popstar in the world, he has a perfect sound which is simultaneously unique to him and a mix of all my favourite styles, and his lyrics are often beautiful and moving - there's a Darren Hayes or Savage Garden song for every emotion I feel, and it's never a chore to listen through them until I find the right one.
