Here is Gwen's long-awaited debut solo single, and it certainly was worth waiting for! It begins as a ballad, then suddenly goes all Euro-disco on us complete with "tick tock tick tock"s and soon turns into a thrash-pop extravaganza that could be mistaken for the fab
Surferosa or
Lene Nystrom. The song ends with the repetition of the line "Take a chance you stupid ho!" The whole song is very Gwen, but still manages to be nothing like my expectations for her solo material - it's much better than I expected and very 'me' so I'm extremely excited now about the accompanying album.
